HMS Belfast's six inch guns had a range of around 14 miles and a crew of up to 950 men.
Operations room. Due to the large amount of electrical equipment here, crew wore fire resistant "anti-flash" clothing whilst the ship was in action. Earlier Second Word War ant-flash was made from cotton impregnated with asbestos!
